ECO-MURALS
by Nicki Deux
Participatory Murals are
Co-Designed & Painted with Locals.
Eco-Murals are painted with
limited environmental impact.
Nicki Deux designs
Participatory Eco-Murals
using one or more of the following practices:
PARTICIPATORY MURALS are created through Design & Painting Workshops hosted to facilitate knowledge exchange between community members who contribute valuable local knowledge and learn to paint murals from our experts.
Mural Design Workshops are hosted to collaborate with community members on concepts.
Mural Painting Workshops are hosted to invite local aspiring artists to join in painting.
ECO-MURALS limit their environmental impact via sustainable materials and responsible processes.
RESPONSIBLE PAINT WATER DISPOSAL METHODS: to prevent microplastics from entering water systems.
RECYCLED AND DONATED SUPPLIES: to eliminate single use plastic from our process.
BAMBOO BRUSHES: to utilise the most sustainable material for paint brushes.
NON-TOXIC, PLASTIC-FREE, 0% VOC PAINT: to prevent micro plastics from contaminating water, and VOC’s from contributing to greenhouse gasses. To learn more about the eco-friendly paint Nicki uses in the UK, please visit https://www.lakelandpaints.co.uk
